The Client's desperately needed to have a separate space they could escape and unwind to at the end of a hectic day; with a small property, the only realistic option was to expand upwards. The Client's expressed concern with having a third floor addition look too overpowering and out of place on the street; they wanted to ensure that the new structure looked like it could have always been there! In this comfortably-sized addition, we provided the Client's with a Master Bedroom, Lounge with custom fireplace and built-in wardrobes, Walk-in Closet and a stunning 4-pc Ensuite.

We achieved their wish list by setting the main living space back from the front facade and maintaining the original front roof with the dormer. The exterior cladding blended in with the colour of the roof shingles, and windows were selected with the craftsman grilles to replicate the original character. The interior finishes, interior doors, hardware, and custom cabinetry were all designed and installed with strong attention to detail in order to match, replicate and seamlessly integrate with the original features of the floors below.
