With what started out at an original cramped 1950’s kitchen, transformed into this stunning, open concept great room. By removing a small entrance foyer, a main structural wall, and relocating a door opening, we were able to incorporate additional storage and a gorgeous island. For cost savings, we specified the cabinetry from IKEA, and customized the layout and installation to suit the unique conditions of the space. The front door closet is cleverly concealed into a pantry cabinet, and drawer-in-drawer pull-outs are hidden inside the larger drawers to hold all of the smaller items, cutlery, keys, and mail.
